POSITION PURPOSE:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage invoice routing and approval software.
• Verify invoices, match POs, and match delivery tickets to invoices.
• Complete weekly accounts payable check run.
• Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes.
• Work closely with project managers, field supervisors, and vendors to maintain accurate accounts.
• Verify sales taxes are applied to invoices where applicable.
• Obtain and file vendor W-9 forms, ACH enrollment forms, complete credit applications, and handle 1099’s for year-end
• Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Ability to verify and adjust timecards based on construction trade classifications and job costing.
Process payroll for jobs that have prevailing wage and produce certified payroll reports.
• Compile, enter, organize, file, and maintain various paper, digital, and electronic documents and data into software and/or file server
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of team and company information
• Assist Controller and other department roles with various projects

Job requirements
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in accounting preferred (construction industry experience a plus).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion to “own your process” and being proactive.
