Cycle Construction is currently accepting Intern applications from students that are highly motivated problem solvers, detailed oriented, and team players. Our Internship provides eligible students interested in Construction Management the opportunity to gain real world, hands-on experience in the Civil Construction industry. Our Internship program is an eight week rotation, in which interns will spend four weeks in Project Management and four weeks in Estimating. During these rotations, you will be mentored by veteran Project Managers and Estimators, while solving and overcoming real-life construction obstacles.


Program & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Rotation
    • Submittal Preparation
    • Job cost tracking
    • Working with survey team
    • Tracking jobsite cycle times
    • Working/observing field crews
  • Estimating Rotation
    • Attend pre-bid meetings
    • Performing quantity takeoffs
    • Issue invitations to bid
    • Exposure to estimating software
    • Sit through estimate reviews

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Full time, actively enrolled students in Engineering, CM, or other related majors
  • Undergraduate Sophomores or Juniors
  • Students in good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Interest in a future position in the Civil Construction industry
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills (oral, interpersonal, and written)

Must pass applicable drug test, physical, and pre-employment screenings; as well as, possess a valid driver’s license.
